Volkswagen will be showcasing a five-seater version of the Atlas SUV at the upcoming New York International Auto Show 2018, on March 28. The carmaker has recently released a new teaser image of the upcoming near-production concept SUV, designed for the US market.

Lotus has also confirmed that the SUV will have typically Lotus design in terms of its exterior with front and rear styling heavily inspired by the likes of the Elise and the Exige.

Jeep has released teasers of its two Easter Safari Concept. The company will reveal the entire line-up next week.

The Mahindra XUV 500 is one of the most popular sub Rs 20 lakh SUV in India. Launched originally in 2011 with a first facelift in 2016, the popular SUV is due for yet another (and major) facelift in order to freshen the range up. The new SUV will be launched soon but has already been spied with minimal camouflage recently. The pictures show the new Mahindra XUV 500 with an updated front and rear end. Updates up front include a new larger front grille that ditches the conventional slats in favour for a sportier look. Thick chrome slats also accent the grille. The signature front bumper slits with the fog lamp housings are now slimmer, slightly more angular and with less chrome as compared to its predecessor.

MG is all set to enter the Indian market in 2019 with a brand new SUV. The SUV will not be a subcompact sub 4-metre SUV like the popular Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza but instead be slightly larger similar to the likes of the Hyundai Creta or the Renault Captur. MG globally only offers petrol engines but for India, the automaker will offer a diesel engine option as confirmed by Rajeev Chaba, President and Managing Director, MG Motor India. Reports claim that the diesel engine will be sourced by MG from Jeep and will be the same 2-litre unit that does duty in the popular Jeep Compass SUV in India.

Jeep India dealers have already started taking bookings for the SUV and the booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000.

The Audi Q8 SUV was showcased in its concept form at the 2017 Detroit Motor Show and the production model will be making it to the market by June 2018.
