Honda Jazz Facelift
The current generation Honda Jazz has been on sale since 2014 and the model is starting to show its age amidst new competition. Nevertheless, Honda introduced the Jazz facelift globally last year and the model will be making its way to India later the month. The updated Honda Jazz for 2018 will come with subtle cosmetic upgrades as part of a mid-cycle update and will include a revised grille, headlamps and bumper, while LED DRLs are likely to be a part of the update. Inside, the cabin is expected to get subtle changes most prominent of which will be the new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A major change could be the omission of the magic seats on the Jazz facelift. Engine options will remain the same including the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options will include the same 5-speed manual and the CVT automatic for the petrol, and the 6-speed manual for the diesel. It's not clear if Honda will introduce the diesel-CVT option from the new generation Amaze on its hatchback. The 2018 Honda Jazz facelift will take on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20 and the likes in the segment.
