The Skoda Kodiaq has returned in its second-generation avatar, bringing a fresh design, integrated technology, and an updated cabin experience. Positioned as Skoda’s flagship SUV in India, it continues to focus on comfort, practicality, and everyday usability while offering a three-row seating layout for families. The SUV continues with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a DSG automatic gearbox and standard all-wheel drive.
We evaluated the new generation model and found that the updates go beyond just cosmetic changes. The SUV now follows Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language, with a new grille design and updated lighting elements. It is also longer than the previous generation, which contributes to better interior packaging and luggage space.

The Skoda Kodiaq remains a premium family SUV that focuses on comfort, practicality, and a refined driving experience. We evaluated its overall package and found that the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a DSG automatic gearbox and standard all-wheel drive delivers smooth and effortless performance. The ride quality also stands out, as the suspension comfortably absorbs rough roads while keeping passengers relaxed.
Inside, the cabin feels modern and well-equipped with a 13-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, Smart Dials, and a 13-speaker Canton sound system. Rear passengers benefit from good seat support and their own climate controls, while Skoda’s ‘Simply Clever’ storage solutions add everyday practicality. The Kodiaq’s overall balance of comfort, features, and practicality makes it a strong option for buyers looking for a premium three-row family SUV.

- Excellent car compared to the competition5.0Scout(Diesel)I've 2021 model of Kodiaq however it's none of the listed models here. It's a European SEL varient TSI 1.5 automatic DSG petrol. I'm not sure if this model is in India yet. Since I drive mainly in the London, car has enough power. It's snappy , quiet and quick specially on motorways. Interior is superb and tons of features. No noise in the cabin. Automatic heated seats and front glass are best! Infotainment is great . My only complaint is, I can't search navigation by postcode.for some reason.
