VW's Bets On India: Taigun Now, EV in Future

The impending launch of the Volkswagen Taigun sees the company go back into high gear in India after a long time. The new compact SUV, and its sister sedan that follows will form the backbone of its volumes plan in the immediate future here. But if that is successful, VW wants to think about how to invest in EVs for India, and believes a compact, affordable offering is the way to go.
