The Ampere REO offers a compact, lightweight electric scooter which is not very expensive and is easy to ride. But its long charging time, and low top speed of 25 kmph are also hindrances to make it a practical, everyday electric scooter which can replace a conventional petrol-powered scooter for urban use.
