The BMW F 900 R is a middleweight naked which has a lot going for it. An attractive price point, proper naked roadster ergonomics and very good performance and dynamics give it a decent attraction. The only downside is it pales in comparison to rivals in its segment which are sharper and more performance-oriented.

The Kawasaki Vulcan is a mid-sized cruiser which gets a 649 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. It is a decent option, perhaps one of the few options in the 650 cc cruiser segment.
