Lexus has confirmed two powertrains for the Indian market, the familiar ES 350h and the all-electric ES 500e.

Almost a year after its global debut, the Japanese luxury brand is bringing its newest sedan to the Indian market.

This is the first iteration of Lexus' luxury sedan to also be offered with a pure electric powertrain.

The new Lexus ES is expected to be offered with a plug-in-hybrid powertrain; teaser provides a glimpse of a charging port.
