The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been in the Indian market for almost two decades now. As we near the car’s 20th anniversary, the company has now launched the fourth-generation Swift in India. The new-gen model is more stylish, gets new features and tech, and most importantly, comes with a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine from the Suzuki’s Z-Series range, with a claimed efficiency of 25.75 kmpl. But is the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift still that fun-to-drive affordable little hatchback that everyone loved so much? We recently spent some quality time with the new Swift to find an answer to that very question.

A quick first look at the all new 3rd generation Maruti Suzuki Swift. The car gets to us is petrol and diesel, and both fuel types sport 2 AMT variants each. Its the first time that Maruti is offering auto at the very start on both. The car uses Suzuki's HEARTECT platform that allows it to be wider and roomier. The styling is very modern and yet invokes the Swift's retro charm. It will be available in 6 colours including the iconic red that fits its appeal to the core. 2018 Swift Hybrid Review: https://goo.gl/frRsYp 2018 Swift Sport 1.4L Variant Review: https://goo.gl/MfnihV
