Mahindra has announced the launch of its new range of Supro Profit Trucks in India. Offered in two options - Supro Profit Truck Maxi and the Supro Profit Truck Mini, the new range specifically targets the cargo segment, and Mahindra claims that it boasts of a greater payload capacity and higher mileage that assures higher profit to the customers.

The milestone bespoke project is for a European customer who wanted two specific interior features to extend the personalisation of their Bentley.

In the national capital Delhi, petrol has breached Rs. 101-mark, retailing at Rs. 101.19 a litre, after a hike of 28 paise, while diesel dropped to Rs. 89.72 a litre after a marginal reduction of 16 paise.

Maruti Suzuki India says that the price hike is mainly due to the increase in various input costs. The new prices will come into effect from today, July 12, 2021, and the announcement regarding a price hike for other models will be announced soon.

The fresh investment comes from Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) and OAKS and will be used directed towards expanding production capacity, consolidating market position, investing in future technology and reaching out to new markets.

Foxconn and electric car manufacturer Fisker Inc said in May that they had finalised a vehicle-assembly deal. They did not identify a location, but Fisker's CEO said Foxconn's Wisconsin site was a possibility.

China's overall sales stood at 2.02 million vehicles in June, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). The country sold 12.89 million vehicles between January and June, up 25.6% from year-ago levels.

The company, which makes premium electric cars, aims to have 700 battery swapping stations by the end of this year.
