In March 2022, Maruti Suzuki's total sales stood at 170,395 units. Compared to 167,014 vehicles sold during the same month in 2021, the Indo-Japanese carmaker saw year-on-year growth of over 2 per cent.

In February 2022, total passenger vehicle sales in India stood at 262,984 units, which is a decline of 6.5 per cent compared to the 281,380 vehicles sold in the domestic market in February 2021.
