Compared to March 2021, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer's overall sales declined by 22 per cent, when it had sold 5,76,957 units.

In March 2022, Honda Cars India's total sales, domestic + exports, stood at 8,832 units, which is a decent growth of 8 per cent compared to 8,172 units sold in March 2021.

On cumulative basis, Mahindra sold 29,763 units in March 2022 recording a sales decline of 4 per cent when compared to 30,970 units sold in the same month a year ago.

In March 2022, Mahindra's total passenger vehicle sales stood at 27,603 units, a year-on-year growth of 65 per cent compared to 16,700 vehicles that were sold in March 2021. Out of this, utility vehicles accounted for 27,380 units, whereas combined sales of cars and vans, which include EVs, stood at 223 units.

Hyundai India recorded a marginal month-on-month (MoM) growth of 1.24 per cent in the domestic market as it sold 44,050 units in February 2022.

Tata Motors' Q4 2022 results saw an upward growth with a 28 per cent hike in its overall domestic sales as it registered 2,33,078 units as against 1,82,477 units in Q4 FY21.

Kia also recorded its best quarterly sales with over 60,000 units dispatched between January and March 2022.

In March 2022, Maruti Suzuki's total sales stood at 170,395 units. Compared to 167,014 vehicles sold during the same month in 2021, the Indo-Japanese carmaker saw year-on-year growth of over 2 per cent.
