MG Motor India Clocks 1 Lakh Sales Milestone

MG Motor India announced selling 1 lakh cars in the Indian market ever since it began its sales operations back in 2019. The company's first launch, the MG Hector has been its bestselling model so far followed by the MG Astor and MG ZS EV. The MG Gloster full-size SUV too has been a substantial contributor in overall sales. The company has also integrated 37 per cent women employees into its workforce including the factory and aims to achieve 50 per cent by Dec 2023.

The MG Astor has been the second bestselling model in the company's line-up.

The MG ZS EV has been the third bestselling model in the company's line up.

MG Motor India was also recently recognised as the leading carmaker in J.D. Power 2021 India Sales Satisfaction Study (SSI) and India Customer Service Index (CSI) study. It also secured second position among four-wheeler mass-market vehicles in dealer satisfaction in the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) survey.
