MG Majestor

Introduction

• MG showcased the Majestor SUV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
• However, the carmaker's pavilion didn't have this car on display.
• Moreover, MG never furnished further information post this unveil while the interior was not even shown.
• Nevertheless, the SUV has been spotted several times on the road post the unveil.
• A mid-May 2025 launch never happened, and we don't expect the Majestor to make it before 2025 ends.
• However, post the Hector and Hector facelifts, we can expect the Majestor to make it to our market.
• Initially, the Majestor might be sold alongside the current Gloster, but will eventually replace it.

Exterior

• As for the exterior, the MG Majestor is essentially the updated version of the Gloster.
• As a result, the Majestor will continue to be a big three-row SUV like the Gloster, but with refreshed looks.
• Its fascia sports a large, upright octagonal grille, surrounded by slim LED DRLs and vertically stacked LED headlights.
• At the back will be wraparound LED tail lamps connected by an LED light bar.
• The SUV will sport a bold 'MAJESTOR' lettering in bold on the tailgate.
• Then, there's a stubby rear bumper with dual chrome-tipped exhausts.
• Unlike the only white one showcased at the expo, we can expect the availability of a new black shade along with some more options.

Interior

• MG hasn't officially shown the Majestor's cabin or released any images.
• However, we can expect the SUV to get a new free-standing 12.3-inch touchscreen and new digital instrument cluster.
• Features like a three-zone automatic climate control and ventilated seats with heating and massaging function should take care of the comfort.
• Other standard equipment should include ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.

Powertrain

• Like the MG Gloster, the Majestor will also get a 2.0-litre diesel engine.
• This 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel mill belts out 213bhp and 478Nm torque.
• On the transmission front will only be an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• We expect the Majestor to also be equipped with an intelligent 4WD drivetrain.
