Hero had an exemplary performance in 2017 with over 70 lakh two-wheelers sold. The company sold 4,72,731 units in December 2017 which is a 43 per cent growth over the sales in December 2016.

While TVS is currently concentrating on the Apache RR 310, the bike maker has a host of products in development including a new performance scooter. The upcoming offering is said to be based on the TVS Graphite concept that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo and was recently spotted in a camouflaged avatar outside a dealership in Bangalore.

Ducati has also issued a recall for some of its models in USA for faulty Brembo brakes. The affected models include Panigale 1299, Multistrada 1200, Multistrada 1260, Monster 1200, Scrambler Cafe Racer and so on. The affected bikes will be repaired free of cost.

Royal Enfield has announced achieving 16 per cent growth in overall sales in the month of December 2017. Royal Enfield sold a total of 66,968 motorcycles last month, which includes both the domestic market as well as the international exports.

Suzuki posted a growth of 50.16 per cent on its sales in December 2017 as compared to the sales in December 2016.

Bajaj posted a growth of 13 per cent for its two-wheeler sales in December 2017 over December 2016. The company had a great showing for its CV sales in December 2017, posting the highest ever monthly unit sales.

TVS registered overall growth of 39.3 per cent in its sales in December 2017, selling 256,909 units. It sold 184,944 units overall in December 2016.

TVS has been testing the Dazz 110 cc scooter in India and could launch it in the near future. The Dazz is already on sale in some South East Asian markets such as Indonesia.
