Tata Tigor, the long awaited subcompact sedan from the home-grown automaker is all set to be launched in India on 29th of March 2017. Essentially a sedan version of the company's top-selling hatchback, Tata Tiago, the company calls the Tigor a Styleback and it will be positioned below the Tata Zest.

One of the bestselling nameplates in the Indian automotive market, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire always gets our attention. We were the first to tell you this last year, and now we can confirm to you that the new Swift Dzire will come to us before the hatch, and arrive this year. Sources within the company have confirmed this news to us. The next generation subcompact sedan is all but ready for launch, and we have seen it testing in and around Maruti's plants in December 2016 and January this year.

The Swift is one of Suzuki's most popular nameplates globally and of course it's been much loved in India too. The fact that Maruti Suzuki has been able to sell over 1.5 million units of the car in India stands testimony to that statement. India has already seen two generations of the Swift and the third made its global premiere in Japan last year.

Audi AG has revealed the new Q8 Sport Concept at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show that previews the brand's upcoming flagship SUV. The Audi Q8 was first revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January last year and will be positoned above the Q7 in the automaker's line-up. With the Sport Concept however, Audi is presenting the Q8 in a much menacing and performance friendly avatar, which could possibly be the first glimpse of the more powerful SQ8 or the RS Q8 iterations of the SUV.

Most Porsche fans were rather disappointed when the previous 911 GT3 model was offered only with a 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. For Porsche aficionados, it was nothing short of sacrilege. But with the new 911 GT3, Porsche paid heed to the cries of its fans and has given it a 6-speed manual sports gearbox. As far as the engine is concerned, the new 911 GT3 gets a 4.0 Litre flat-six engine which is naturally aspirated (surprise, again) and pumps out close to 493 bhp.

The much awaited next generation Suzuki Swift made its premiere in Japan late last year, and has now finally made its global debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Moving in its fourth generation internationally (and third generation in India), the 2017 Suzuki Swift boasts of a complete new character keeping the design, handling and performance on the more young and sporty side.

Maruti Suzuki is working on a concept car that will showcase the direction the Alto family will take post 2018. The concept car will be teased at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi and sources say that there's a lot to look forward to in this car.
