The new Honda Accord hybrid today finally went on sale in India priced at Rs. 37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Currently in its ninth generation, the Accord sedan will compete with the Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Mahindra launches the new e2oPlus electric car in India with prices starting from Rs. 5.46 lakh. it is the 4-door version of the smaller 2-door e2o hatchback.

We'll finally see a Mini get a plug-in hybrid variant and this one is going to be based on the forthcoming second-generation Countryman. It's likely to carry the 'E' suffix and hence it might be called the Countryman E. There aren't many details out yet, but the folks at Mini say that the combustion engine will drive the front wheels while the electric motor will power the rear axle to provide the car with an all-wheel drive layout.
