In a bid to revive its sales in the competitive market, the American carmaker is now planning to launch a bunch of new cars this year. Of all the cars that the company will roll out, the new-generation Ford Figo and the Figo-based sub-compact sedan will be the first two.

The Chevrolet Spin will replace the Enjoy but it will have to battle with old foes - the Ertiga and the Mobilio. We compare the specifications of these cars to know a little more about them.

It is now a crowded yet rapidly expanding segment. And Ford Motor Co wants a piece of it. Ford's next product is the Figo Aspire - a new subcompact sedan to rival the best-selling Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Honda Amaze - besides the Tata Zest & Hyundai Xcent.

Powering the Nano Twist AMT will be the same 624cc MPFI naturally-aspirated twin-cylinder engine that powers the regular Nano. This engine is good for 37bhp and 51Nm. The automated manual transmission will be the same 5-speed unit that powers the Zest.

Toyota seems to be in revamp mode off late. First, we saw pictures of the new-generation Innova, and now pictures of the next-generation of the Fortuner are out too. There is little doubt that Toyota is aiming for the 'sleek design' badge with this one - at least that's what I believe.

The company seems to be working on a major facelift of the vehicle, which might be launched here in the second half of 2015.
