In a bid to increase its market share in the Indian market, Ford is planning to launch a bunch of new cars next year. Of all the cars that the company will launch, new-gen Ford Figo and the Figo-based sub-compact sedan will be the first two.

Maruti Suzuki India is planning to bring in a new compact Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) soon. Codenamed YJC, it was first introduced as a WagonR 7-seater variant concept at the 2013 Indonesia Motor Show.

The last update that we saw on both, the Sail sedan and the hatchback, was just before the Diwali season, but GM India now has a new plan for 2015. Chevrolet is gearing up to bring in the new-gen Sail sedan and from what we can see, it looks like a significant one; in terms of design at least.

Hyundai, the South Korean automaker, recently showcased the production-ready model of the ix25 at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show. The concept of the model was unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year.

Renault, the French automaker, is working on a mini SUV which, if comes to India, will be positioned below the Duster. The company has in fact started testing the vehicle outside India and might unveil it sometime next year.

Honda, the Japanese automajor, yesterday unveiled an all-new fuel-cell vehicle - the FCV Concept. However, the production model of the vehicle will go on sale by the end of March 2016

The company says the demand for its other models caught them off-guard, hence the second shift at its second plant. Consequently, the launch of its hatchback had to be acclimatized though there is no set date.

We have already seen a bunch of new and facelifted cars from Mercedes-Benz India this year, and this 25th we will see the new-gen C-Class. After the C-Class, the German luxury carmaker will launch the much-awaited CLA-Class, which will take on the Audi A3 sedan.
