Engine & Transmission

The Sherpa 450 engine delivers power smoothly across the rev range. Almost 85 per cent of the total torque is available from just 3,000 rpm, meaning you do not have to rev the engine extremely hard to get moving. The six-speed gearbox is geared slightly differently from the Himalayan 450 to suit city riding, offering quicker acceleration at the cost of a slightly lower top speed.
