We take you down the memory lane as I recalls my chronicles with the original TVS Victor my father bought 14 years ago, while comparing it to the all-new 2016 Victor launched earlier this year.

Just when Honda thought it had little to worry about, TVS Motor Company resurrected its most loved nameplate - the Victor, which has received a complete makeover and is here to challenge the dominance of Honda. So, does the Livo retain its position of the stylish commuter or is it the Victor that takes home the tag?

TVS Motor Company has updated the Victor 110 cc commute motorcycle with Combined Braking System (CBS) ahead of the March 31, 2019, deadline for the new safety regulations. Synchronised Braking System (SBT) as TVS calls it is now a standard feature on the TVS Victor CBS and is priced from Rs. 54,682, going up to Rs. 57,662 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company says its SBT helps reduce braking distance up to 10 per cent, as compared to other comparable braking systems. Apart from SBT, the bike gets no other changes for the new year.

TVS Motor Company has introduced the new Matte Series for the Victor Premium Edition. The new matter colour scheme is priced at Rs. 55,890 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in two new shades - Blue and Silver, along with additional features. The new colours are complemented by chrome detailing on the visor and a dual tone beige seat.

The new TVS Victor Premium Edition gets an upmarket touch on the motorcycle, adding new chrome detailing, premium sticker scheme and a chrome crash guard to the motorcycle.

TVS Motor Company can now be certain that the 'Victor' nameplate never lost its charm as the commuter motorcycle has hit a milestone of one lakh unit sales in nine months.

TVS Motor Company has launched the new Victor 110cc commuter motorcycle in Delhi with prices starting at Rs. 49,490 for the base drum version, whereas the top-end trim is priced at Rs. 51,490 (all-prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
