Korean carmaker Kia has taken the wraps off its second dedicated EV called the EV9 and this one is a full sized 3 row SUV EV. This one too is built on the brands E-GMP platform, and according to Kia in many ways it will be the flagship of the brand globally. The EV9 gets Level 3 ADAS tech and can run for 541 kms on a single charge. Here's a first look of the full-sized SUV EV.
Skoda Auto India has launched a new special edition variant of the Kushaq. Christened Kushaq Onyx Edition, the new variant is priced at Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and is positioned between the entry level Active trim and the mid-spec Ambition variant. The SUV is Rs. 80,000 more expensive than the Active trim and gets some extra features along with new exterior graphics and fabric-leatherette upholstery. The Kushaq Onyx Edition is available only with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine option with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched the 6th generation model of Verna sedan in India. The car comes with segment’s longest wheelbase and width and also runs on the segment’s most powerful engine. Along with this the new Verna also gets as many as 17 Level 2 ADAS features. Prices begin at Rs. 10.90 lakh and go upto Rs. 17.37 lakh, ex-showroom. Watch the video for all details.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched a slew of custom accessory packs for the Honda CB350 RS and the H’Ness CB350. There are six accessory packs in total, four for the H’Ness CB350 and two for the CB350 RS motorcycle. The good news is that along with purchasing the accessories pack in a bundle, customers can mix and match accessories or buy individual accessories as well. The idea is offer personalisation and individual styling options for customers of the CB 350 motorcycle series. Prices start at Rs. 7,500 and go up to Rs. 22,200.
River, a new Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, took the wraps off its first electric two-wheeler the River Indie Scooter. River positions it as the SUV of electric scooters, focussing on lifestyle and utility. The scooter is priced at Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and pre-bookings for the scooter have begun. Deliveries will begin in August 2023, with trial production beginning in April 2023.
