The company shared that it plans to bring a spectrum of electrified vehicles across its product line, embracing fully electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid cars. The 2017 Verna gets a 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engine mated to 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox option. Hyundai has priced the new Verna quite aggressively. Prices start from Rs. 7.99 lakh for the petrol base manual whereas the diesel base manual costs Rs. 9.19 lakh. Based on the D-Max V-Cross platform, the MU-X gets a 3-litre engine, two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options with a 5-speed automatic gearbox options.
