Riding on the back of a healthy growth expected in the segment, Ford India is expecting to log in more sales of the upgraded EcoSport which is priced between Rs 7.31 lakh and Rs 10.99 lakh (prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Bringing some freshness to its subcompact SUV, Ford India has introduced EcoSport Thunder Edition in the country with cosmetic and feature upgrades. The 2019 Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition is priced at Rs. 10.18 lakh for the petrol model and Rs. 10.68 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel version. The recently launched Hyundai Venue is off to a blockbuster start and that has pushed a lot of manufacturers to rejig their product range to remain competitive. The new Thunder Edition arrives just days after Maruti Suzuki introduced the Vitara Brezza Sports Edition in the market. In addition, the automaker has revised the 2019 EcoSport range by adding and deleting features across different variants.

This is the first time that the 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift has been spotted sans camouflage with all the necessary badging. The car is likely to go on sale in India during this festive season, which starts by the end of this month.

Like other Ford models, even the Ford Ecosport has been discontinued in India and since the announcement, the availability of used models in the resale market have gone up.

The new Ford Ecosport facelift has been spotted testing and is expected to go on sale later this year.
