Mahindra has confirmed that with the launch of upcoming XUV700 the company will stop production of the XUV500. The new SUV is currently slated to be launched later this year.

The SUV is being tested in the Mandi - Manali region of Himachal Pradesh that has been witnessing sub-zero temperatures, dropping to as low as -2.1 degree Celsius and the entire stretch is covered with snow.
