In January 2022, Mahindra sold 21,162 tractors in India, a decline of 37 per cent compared to sales done in the same month last year. Exports, however, reached 1,520 units, a healthy growth of 25 per cent over January 2021.

In January 2022, Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 7,328 vehicles in India, a year-on-year decline of over 34 per cent compared to the 11,126 units sold during the same month in 2021.

The Kia Seltos remains the bestselling model in the Korean carmaker's range at 11,483 units, contributing 59.44 per cent in its overall sales.

In January 2022, Hyundai India total domestic sales stood at 44,022 units, and in comparison, Tata Motors sold 40,777 passenger vehicles last month. However, compared to 52,005 vehicles sold in January 2021, Hyundai saw a decline of 15 per cent.

Suzuki Motorcycle India sold a total of 70,092 units last month, which included 60,623 units in the domestic market and 9,469 units for exports.

Royal Enfield's domestic market sales are under pressure, declining 23 per cent, but exports are highest-ever for any month.

While Honda Cars India recorded a YoY sales decline of 7.88 per cent in January 2022, it's MoM sales went up by 20.71 per cent.

In January 2022, Maruti Suzuki India's cumulative sales stood at 154,379 units, a decline of nearly 4 per cent compared to the 160,752 vehicles sold during the same month in 2021.
