In December 2021, Maruti Suzuki India's total sales stood at 153,149 units, witnessing a small 4 per cent decline in year-on-year sales, compared to 160,226 vehicles sold in December 2020.

MG Motor India retailed 40,273 units in 2021, registering a growth of 43 per cent over 2020. As compared to the year 2020, the company has exhibited growth of 21.5 per cent for the Hector, 145 per cent for ZS EV, and 252 per cent for Gloster in the year 2021.

In December 2021, Skoda Auto India sold 3,234 units, a MoM growth of 47 per cent compare to 2,196 units sold in November 2021. However, compared to 1,303 units sold in December 2020, the carmaker saw a year-on-year rise of 148 per cent,

Nissan India's wholesales stood at 3010 units, registering a growth of 159 per cent year-on-year in December 2021, while its year-to-date sales witnessed a jump of 323 per cent.

Lamborghini India's 2021 sales have surpassed the record sales of 52 units, which was achieved during the 2019 calendar year. The company's total sales in India has already crossed the 300 units mark.

In November 2021, Pune RTO registered 12,751 motorcycles and scooters, while the same for the Pimpri Chinchwad RTO stood at 8,563 units. Compared to October 2021, the two RTOs saw a growth of 14 per cent and 45 per cent, respectively.

The sales momentum was primarily driven by the company's entry range - the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS motorcycles which commanded a share of nearly 90 per cent of the annual sales.
