Hero MotoCorp sold nearly 3.9 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters in December 2021, compared to more than 4.7 lakh units in the same month a year ago.

Hyundai India's domestic sales stood at 32,312 units in December 2021, while the company did register a growth of 19.2 per cent year-on-year in CY2021 sales.

TVS Motor Company reported overall sales of 250,933 units in December 2021, a decline of 7.7 per cent against 272,084 units in the corresponding month last year.

Tata Motors' domestic car sales stood at 35,300 units last month, while Hyundai sold 32,312 units during the same period. The Indian automaker also registered its best-ever monthly, quarterly and annual sales.

In December 2021, Mahindra's total sales from auto sector, stood at 39,157 units. Compared to the 35,187 vehicles the company sold in December 2020, it witnessed a year-on-year growth of 11 per cent.

In December 2021, Honda Cars India sold 7,973 units in the domestic market, while exports stood at 1,165 units.

In December 2021, Maruti Suzuki India's total sales stood at 153,149 units, witnessing a small 4 per cent decline in year-on-year sales, compared to 160,226 vehicles sold in December 2020.

MG Motor India retailed 40,273 units in 2021, registering a growth of 43 per cent over 2020. As compared to the year 2020, the company has exhibited growth of 21.5 per cent for the Hector, 145 per cent for ZS EV, and 252 per cent for Gloster in the year 2021.
