MG Motor India says that its new compact SUV, the Astor, has attained a strong interest amongst the buyers. The company has hoped to deliver 5,000 units of the SUV by the end of 2021, however, due to supply chain constraints, deliveries had to be postponed to 2022. However, last month the company said that most of the first batch of customers have already received their Astors and it's now working to increase the supply of SUVs to meet the rising demand. The company says, its Hector and Gloster also continue to exhibit good sales trends in their respective segments.

The new MG ZS EV is also likely to get a 360-degree view camera, and possibly even Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS)
Currently, MG Motor India is gearing up for the launch of the 2022 ZS EV, which is slated to be launched later this month. The updated model will come with a revised design and styling, and a host of new and refreshed features and tech. In fact, the SUV is also expected to get a bigger battery and offer an improved range.
MG Motor India currently produces its cars at the company's manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. The plant has an annual production capacity of 80,000 vehicles and employs nearly 2,500 workforces.
