The 2017 Honda City will be launched soon in the country and while it has been one of the most successful model for Honda Car India, one cannot forget that the sixth generation of the car which was launched a couple of years ago made sure that Honda still dominated this segment even though there were established players like Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki in this segment.

The Hyundai Grand i10 was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Auto Show and we were there to give you all the hot details on whats new and whats coming our way to India. The new car is due to be launched in February and as details start trickling in about what changes the car will get, one of the biggest pieces of news is the all new engine. The diesel motor in the Grand i10 was a little underpowered as compared to the likes of the 1.3 litre DDiS that the Maruti Suzuki Swift gets. And this is why Hyundai has decided to revamp its diesel models and give a brand new 1.2 litre diesel instead of the original 1.1 litre version.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has certainly had its fair share of success and it's still piling on the sales for Maruti Suzuki India. It has been selling an average of more than 9000 units on a monthly basis, Maruti Suzuki is actually playing catch with the rising demand. But the company has something more in store and it's the go fast version of the Baleno - the RS version.

Honda Cars India is all set to introduce the Jazz based WR-V sub-compact SUV in the country. The latest spy images reveal that production of the new model have commenced at Honda's Tapukara facility in Rajasthan and will be introduced in March this year. Honda, however, will first introduce the City facelift in the country in the following weeks.

The Skoda Kodiaq Scout is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2017. Skoda should most definitely bring in the Scout variant on the Kodiaq in India with its off-road ready styling to take on the likes of the larger and more aggressively designed SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour while the standard car can take on the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan.

The all-new BMW Z5 was recently spotted undergoing cold weather testing. Draped heavily in camouflage, the car is still hiding a lot under all that cover, but this time we were able to spot a few changes like the revised headlamps and the new exhaust setup.

The 2017 International Geneva Motor Show is less than a couple months away and Mitsubishi has something very interesting to showcase this year. The carmaker has released the first teaser image of its long-awaited compact SUV, which will be the first of a new generation of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles to be unveiled on 7th March 2017.

Ahead of its arrival in India later this year, the 2017 Toyota Vios facelift recently went on sale in Thailand. The facelifted Toyota Vios comes with a new design language and improved styling that has significantly enhanced the premium quotient of the car. The cosmetic updates are quite comprehensive and a lot of styling cues have been borrowed from the new-gen Toyota Camry.
