Tata Motors has revealed the Nano GenX AMT. Dealers have already started taking bookings of the car and the booking amount has been fixed at Rs. 5000. The Nano GenX will be available in the XE, XM and XT trims.

We've already taken you through what India's first sports car is all about and now we have some more details to share. The DC Avanti will be launched in mid-May and for those who wanted to see the car on Indian roads, well, they will see it next month as deliveries of phase one will be completed by then.

Suzuki, the Japanese carmaker, has put the India-bound S-Cross on display at the ongoing Shanghai Auto Show. Though the vehicle is already on sale in China, the one showcased is the updated version. The similar model will come to India as well.

The patent design looks a lot more practical as it loses out on the typical concept-like attributes, though it still retains most of the design elements of the concept. The vehicle gets an all-new face with a 'Flying H' Honda grille, flanked by new head-lights.

Set to launch early next month, the 2015 Nano will get both design and mechanical updates. In fact, the company has started testing the vehicle in India.

Datsun, Nissan's low-cost car brand, is planning to launch yet another small car in the country next year. This announcement came at the first anniversary celebration of Datsun in India.

The DC Avanti is one of the most awaited launches, thanks to the fact that it is the first made-in-India sports car. It is now all set to be officially launched next month. However, the company will deliver the cars on first-come-first-serve basis i.e. the folks who opted for early-bird bookings will get the Avanti first.
