Tata Motors today announced that it has won an order for supplying over 200 units of the Tata Hexa four-wheel drive SUV in Bangladesh. The order comes from the Bangladesh Army. After rigorous testing of the product for months, the Tata Hexa stood strong to meet all the requirements and specifications of the Bangladesh Army. This order has been won against the other competitive brand SUVs and this has been the first key order from the Bangladesh Army. The Tata Hexa is being made available exclusively for the use of the Armed Forces and is currently not available for purchase for private customers.
Tata Motors has recently rolled out massive discount benefits of up to Rs. 2.2 lakh for the Tata Hexa MVP depending on the variant. Currently priced from Rs. 13.25 lakh to Rs. 18.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the company is offering a flat consumer discount of Rs. 1 lakh, in addition to exchange benefits, and corporate discounts, which cumulatively amount to around Rs. 2.2 lakh.
Tata Motors Chairman and Group Head- N.Chandrasekaran at the sidelines of Tata Motors AGM clarified that the Hexa holds a pivotal position in Tata's line-up and it has no plans to discontinue it. Following the statement, we also reached out to the company which reaffirmed that the Hexa will be updated as per its lifecycle. Replying to carandbike, the company said, "Hexa is a product we are extremely proud of as it encapsulated the cream of our Engineering prowess and Styling skills.
