According to a report in PTI, Tata Motors has not sold a single unit of the Nano in March 2019. The company is yet to take a call on the future of the Nano, chances of it surviving the upcoming crash test norms are slim. The stringent safety norms will require the Nano to be redesigned from scratch which will not be possible without fresh investment.
The main task for the company now is to simply get a move on, and start focusing on the business end of how to make the car more desirable and appealing to the people it wants to sell the Nano to.
