Established in 2015, by Niraj Rajmohan and Narayan Subramanian, both alumni of the BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, today Ultraviolette has around 40-50 employees. TVS Motor Company is one of the leading investors in Ultraviollete Automotive, with an investment of Rs. 11 crore with over 25.76 per cent stake in the company. The company’s vision is to create top-of- the-line mobility solutions, driven by progressive design and energy efficient technology. Ultraviolette Automotive is one of the new-age players in the Indian electric mobility space, focussing on high-performance electric motorcycles. Ultraviolette intends to also create an ecosystem for sustainable electric mobility, with plans to set up a dedicated charging network, first in Bengaluru, followed by other cities across India. The first product from Ultraviolette Automotive is the F-77 performance-oriented electric motorcycle, with a claimed top speed of 147 kmph.
