Yamaha R15 V3.0 Specifications

Yamaha Motor India is expected to launch the updated R15 and R15M in the country, while the company could also bring the new Aerox 155 maxi-scooter, as its new flagship scooter.

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V4.0 could get new styling along the lines of the new YZF-R7, along with feature upgrades and possibly more power. The launch though is still some time away.

Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of the BS6 version of the YZF-R15 V3.0 in India. The new Yamaha YZF-R15 BS6 model is priced at Rs. 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and comes with additional features aimed to bring more value to the motorcycle. The model is now more expensive by about Rs. 2000 over the BS4 version, and is now available across the manufacturer's dealerships pan India. The R15 BS6 joins the Yamaha FZ and the FZS motorcycles that were upgraded to BS6 emission norms last month in the company's stable. In terms of equipment, the 2020 Yamaha R15 BS6 now comes with a side-stand engine cut-off switch, dual horn and radial tubeless tyre for the rear wheel as standard.

Yamaha Motor has updated the YZF-R15 V3.0 with new colours and graphics in Thailand as part of the update for the 2019 model year. The 2019 Yamaha R15 sports a new black paint scheme with red and white graphics, new black and blue colours and a grey and yellow colour option as well on the motorcycle. There are new decals as well with the massive 'R' and 'VVA' logos on the fairing of the 2019 R15. The changes though are specific to the Thai market for now and are likely to be introduced in other South East Asian countries over the course of the year.

Yamaha Motorcycle India has updated the prices on select motorcycles in its domestic line-up. The models affected include the YZF-R15 V3.0, FZ25, Fazer 25 and the FZ-FI series with the company increasing prices by Rs. 600-1200 depending on the motorcycle. The premium bikes from the Japanese manufacturer's stable have seen a marginal hike of Rs. 600, and as a result, the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 now retails at Rs. 1.40 lakh, while the Yamaha FZ25 and the Fazer 25 now retail at Rs. 1.34 lakh and Rs 1.44 lakh respectively. The FZ-FI is now priced at Rs. Rs 96,180, while the FZS-FI will set you back by Rs. 98,180 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
