The special edition motor yacht has been inspired from the Sian FKP 37 supercar that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019 and is the brand's first-ever hybrid supercar. The Tecnomar was globally revealed online and brings the sharp Italian design along with an ostentatious price tag.

The Mercedes-AMG F1 team has unveiled its new livery for the W11 Formula 1 that now wears an all-black paint scheme for the 2020 season that starts in a week. While the team is famously known as the Silver Arrows, the colour switch is the team's way to take a stand against racism and discrimination and improve the diversity in the sport. The bold step was taken after Black citizen George Floyd's death sparked global protests against discrimination, rekindling the Black Lives Matter movement. Mercedes driver and reigning F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has been vocally in support of the protest and even called out other teams and drivers for keeping mum on the matter. Hamilton is the only black driver and world champion in F1, which is widely regarded as a white-dominated sport.

Mumbai's Karting Racer Aashi Hanspal To Represent India At FIA Girls On Track - Rising Stars Project
Mumbai-based karting racer Aashi Hanspal has been selected by the FMSCI to represent India at the FIA on Track - Rising Stars Project. The 13-year-old will be competing against 19 others in the age group between 12-16 years in the shoot out at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. The 20 racers have been shortlisted from 70 entries and will be competing for a chance to become the first-ever female driver to be a part of Ferrari's 2021 Formula 4 season. Honda 2Wheelers India Offers Extension On Purchase Of Optional Warranty
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced an extension in the enrollment period for purchasing its extended warranty. Buyers can now purchase the extended warranty for up to three years within 550 days from the day of purchase of their motorcycle or scooter. Previously, Honda two-wheelers owners had to purchase the extended warranty within 365 days from the day of purchase of their model. This means that the optional extended warranty is also available for owners with vehicles that are less than 1.5 years old.

EICMA 2020 Cancelled Due To The Coronavirus Pandemic
One of the biggest motorcycle events of the year, the EICMA Motorcycle Show has been cancelled for 2020. The 78th edition of the motorcycle show was scheduled between November 3-8, 2020, in the halls of Fiera Milano, in Milan; however, the annual motorcycle show has been postponed to 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Italy has been one of the worse-affected by COVID-19 and the extended travel restriction and social distancing protocols have made it difficult to host events that would warrant mass gatherings. The 78th edition of EICMA has now been postponed to November 9-14, 2021.

Apollo Commissions New Rs. 3800 Crore Tyre Manufacturing Facility In Andhra Pradesh
Leading tyre maker Apollo Tyres has announced the commissioning of its new manufacturing facility in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The new plant will see an investment of about Rs. 3800 crore from the manufacturer in the first phase of the greenfield factory over the next year and a half, the company said in a regulatory filing. The upcoming facility will be the brand's seventh plant globally and fifth in India. Apollo says the new plant will be using state-of-the-art technologies to enable the company to target premium OEMs and after-market customers in India.

American TV presenter and race car driver Jessi Combs has been named the fastest female land-speed record holder by Guinness World Records, posthumously. The automotive daredevil died last year while attempting to beat the land speed record on August 27, 2019, in the Alvord Desert, US. Her previous land speed record attempts from earlier that day were submitted to the institution, which concluded that she had reached a speed of 522.783 mph (841.338 kmph), making her the fastest woman on Earth.

F1: Sauber Relaunches Young Driver Programme To Nurture Junior Drivers
Sauber Motorsport, which operates the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN entry in the Formula One world championship, has relaunched its new junior driver development programme that was established last year. The new Sauber Academy will be supporting four young drivers including German Formula 4 champion Theo Pourchaire, Sauber Karting Team graduate Dexter Patterson, Formula Renault Eurocup racer Petr Ptacek and karting racer Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. The team previously worked with Charouz Racing System to operate its junior team in 2019 but with that partnership concluding last season, the new Sauber Academy has been established and promises to offer a full development pathway from the grassroots to the pinnacle of motorsport.

Toyota Yaris Is Now Available On Government e Marketplace
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the availability of the Yaris compact sedan on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The online portal is a dedicated digital market for online procurement of goods and services by government organisations, departments and Public Sector Units (PSUs). The Toyota Yaris will be offered on the portal in the J Grade from June onwards and marks the Japanese automaker's return to GeM that was launched in 2016. The GeM portal lists the Toyota Yaris J at Rs. 9.12 lakh, which is substantially lower than the asking price of Rs. 11.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Civic range has over the years expanded into a sedan, hatchback and even a station wagon. NASCAR Stands In Solidarity With Bubba Wallace After Noose Incident
American stock car racing, NASCAR started its recent race with an extraordinary act of solidarity for its only black driver Darrel Wallace Jr., more commonly known as Bubba. Dozens of drivers pushed the car belonging to Wallace to the front of the field as a show of support after a noose was found in the driver's garage over the weekend.
