Pros Cons of Bajaj Avenger Street 160

Pros

  • Good stability
  • Decent engine
  • Affordable cruiser

Cons

  • Lack features
  • Dated design
  • Braking could be better

Verdict

The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 offers an affordable package in a cruiser-like design over what is essentially a commuter motorcycle. Ergonomics are feet forward and the suspension is softly sprung, not so great while going over broken surfaces. While the engine is good enough to potter around the city, the Avenger Street 160 is happiest at speeds under 80 kmph, and that limits its touring capabilities.

Pros Cons Yamaha FZ S V3.0 FI

Pros

  • Refined engine
  • Comfotable ride quality
  • Returns decent efficiency

Cons

  • Misses out on many features
  • Not the best looking in the segment
  • Build quality

Verdict

The Yamaha FZ S V 3.0 is an excellent motorcycle for commuting within the city. It is ergonomically balanced and the engine has lots of zeal. Torque offered is ample and the refinement level is commendable with a decent mileage figire. To top it off, Yamaha's reliability is an added bonus. However, it misses out on basic features available with its rivals, and also lacks character in its design. Overall built quality could've been improved.
