Pros Cons of Ducati Multistrada V4

Pros

  • Powerful engine
  • Radar-based cruise control
  • Comfortable ride experience

Cons

  • Expensive
  • High cost of ownership
  • Limited service reach

Verdict

The Ducati Multistrada V4 was the third model from Ducati to get its V4 engine after the Panigale V4 and the Streetfighter V4. It is currently on sale in India and is one of the best options in the premium adventure motorcycle segment. The performance from the V4 Gran Turismo engine is excellent and the motorcycle is loaded with features and rider aids. Its biggest rivals are the Triumph Tiger 1200, BMW R 1250 GS and H-D Pan America. As a do-it-all motorcycle, the Multistrada V4 is surely multi-faceted, but all that performance and practicality comes a steep price.

Pros Cons Suzuki Hayabusa

Pros

  • Impressive acceleration
  • Superlative brakes
  • Competitively priced

Cons

  • Heavy feel on clutch lever
  • Not comfortable in traffic
  • Engine runs hot

Verdict

Priced at ₹ 16.40 lakh (Ex-showroom), the Suzuki Hayabusa offers superb value. It's got crackling performance, a sophisticated electronics suite, which makes it safe and easy to enjoy. The only downside is that the huge 1,340 cc engine generates a lot of heat on a hot day, which can be quite bothersome, and despite the slip-and-assist clutch, the lever feels heavy and not ideal, if you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.
