Verdict

Honda’s first affordable electric step-through feels like a massive opportunity squandered. It genuinely struggles to justify its existence in a market that moved past these basic specifications years ago. The performance is severely restricted; you actively feel the scooter pulling back the moment you hit the 50 kmph limit in Standard mode. Range anxiety is a constant companion, too, as you will be lucky to hit 60 km on a full charge.

Moreover, the lack of fundamental safety features, like smooth riding mode transitions, makes it feel poorly calibrated. When you factor in the lack of FAME subsidies and the slow seven-hour charging time, the asking price feels completely unjustified. For thousands of Indians, this will be their first impression of a Honda EV, and frankly, they deserve much better. Unless you are fiercely loyal to the brand, you are better off spending your money on its heavily established rivals.
