Keeway Hypevolt-R vs Keeway V302C Comparison

On the spec sheet, Keeway is making a remarkably aggressive statement by jumping directly into India's premium performance electric circle. By packing a 5.04 kWh battery architecture, a 12 kW mid-mounted motor, and high-end rider aids like a rear reverse camera and blind-spot sensors, the Hypevolt-R positions itself as a technological powerhouse. The dual-removable battery design is a genuine masterstroke for urban riders who lack dedicated charging infrastructure in their parking basements.

However, since this high-performance scooter literally launched today, we must view these incredible numbers with some skepticism. We still need to get the vehicle out on the street to evaluate how its stiffly damped, performance-tuned suspension handles fractured city roads, see if that 130 mm clearance causes anxiety over standard speed humps, and verify how realistic that 180 km range claim is when pinned in Sport mode. Keeway might just carve out a dedicated enthusiast niche but we will hold our final ruling until a test unit lands at our garage for a proper road test.

The Keeway V302C is a neo-retro bobber-styled motorcycle and it was launched in August 2022. As the name suggests, the Keeway V302C gets a V-twin engine, making it Keeway's second V-twin motorcycle in India. Prices for the Keeway V302C begin at Rs. 3.89 lakh, and it is offered with three colour options, each one offered with a different price tag. It gets a 298 cc V-twin engine at its heart. The V-twin puts out 29.1 bhp at 8,500 rpm, and 26.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and has a belt final drive instead of a chain. While there may not be a direct rival to the V302C, its unique design and an expensive proposition may deter buyers. Plus, Keeway is not exactly a known brand in India and that could hamper the sales of the model too.
