Keeway launched the SR125 at a price of Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the SR125 sits in the 125 cc commuter motorcycle segment and features a retro-inspired design. The SR125 is the brand’s seventh launch for the Indian market in the last 5 months and is the new entry point to the manufacturer’s portfolio. In terms of design, the SR125 pulls off the retro-inspired design with its wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres, single pod instrument cluster and simplistic round light clusters The single piece ribbed seat, gaiters on the front telescopic fork and twin-shock rear suspension add to the retro inspired design. The focus from the company needs to be on brand-building, so that potential customers recognise the brand in a market which many other alternatives and at affordable price points.

The Keeway K300 R is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh and is a supersport motorcycle and it gets a 292 cc engine that makes 27 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The bike also gets standard front and rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS. The highlights are a fresh design and a decent list of features. But Keeway is a relatively unknown brand and the recall is not the best in India. Plus the brand has limited reach in terms of sales and service as well, which are things you should consider while purchasing the Keeway K300 R.
