Li-ions Elektrik Spock vs Yamaha Fascino 125 Comparison

Li-ions Elektric Spock is the first product from Gurugram-based electric scooter start-up Li-ions Elektric. It comes with two 72V 20Ah lithium-ion battery packs offering a claimed range of 50-130km on a full charge. It also comes with three modes: Economy, Power, and Reverse mode. The battery powers a Brushless DC hub motor which generates 230Nm of torque and offers a claimed top speed of 45kmph. With a price tag of Rs. 65,000 the Spock isn’t very expensive, but the brand is not well-known.

The new Fascino keeps its retro-based design template along with metallic colour touches and sufficient chrome for a more premium touch. The Yamaha Fascino 125 does offer good value for money if you consider the impressive fuel economy of 66 Kmpl and the low kerb weight below 100 Kg which ensures better performance and handling. Refinement is excellent for the engine and it feels responsive enough. The design is attractive and so are the colours. Overall, it is a value pick for buyers.
