The Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander is the entry-point to the D-Max range and basically the base variant which is very rudimentary in nature.

It's off the road where the V-Cross is in its element and we didn't step back to test its true mettle on the rough. Impressively, the new 1.9-litre diesel engine feels more at ease on the highway as well and the V-Cross still fairly surprises you with its dynamics. Japan's Isuzu Motors aims to expand its dealer network in India six-fold to about 60 outlets in the country by the end of the next financial year. The company, which opened its first dealership in North India in Delhi today, also launched three variants of pick-up trucks under the D-Max range.

Isuzu had unveiled the D-Max Space cab at the 2014 Auto Expo and now the company has finally launched the pick-up truck in India. The D-max will be made available in three trims, with two cabin options and two deck options.
