MG 2026 Hector Reviews

I own a MG Hector sharp cvt petrol. I’ve been driving it for the last 6 months, and I’m loving it. Right from the great pickup , extreme comfort, very good customer care, it’s sturdiness, trust me it’s build quality is fantastic. It just cruises through hill stations in just D (Drive) mode without even shifting to sports mode, like a hot knife on butter. I’ve travelled long distances too, I never felt tired. I’m not telling all the positives because I own it, honestly you will just fall in love with MG Hector. Ignore the pseudo-nationalists who just pitch for Tata cars, even with their poor quality service, and average interiors, with just build quality as one positive. But MG Hector beats them all. Test drive it, and you will know it. Don’t trust the paid reviews of motoroctane etc. try by yourself. Ignore the mileage, mine gives 9 in the city, 10 on highways, who cares about mileage when you have all others top-notch things. Every little detail is well thought.

Its a Baojun530. A chinese car sold in chinese market, but rebadged for India. The fit and finish of a new car is commentable but doesn't last long. Technology wise it stands well in front of competition, but reliability is a question.

I have selected this model from milage concern, and I am glad to say I am super satisfied, and talking about its design and features Its a worth investing car.

MG Hector is the best vehicle in its segment, attractive design, comfortable cabin with so many smart features and strong build quality makes this car a value for money deal.

I love the MG hector, its such a great car with all these modern features and the luxury makes the best value for money vehicle.

I'm so happy with MG Hybrid DCT sharp. Travelled almost 1300kms in a month, no issues at all. The best thing about MG is its after-sales service.

Purchased my 1st vehicle from MG yesterday and very pleased with all of them. The staff is very easy to deal with and professional, you won't find pushy salesmen at this dealership. I will definitely buy again from them when we upgrade.

If you are looking to buy Hector better to feel the Luxury Experience, Just an amazing SUV in the segment. The ride quality and performance is just amazing.

Best thing I like the CVT Transmission because it is very smooth and convenient to drive in heavy traffic. Mileage is also good. The feature is offering company is outstanding. Best in the segment.

I own MG Hector Sharp since August 2019 and all is good except the infotainment system. Missing dedicated AC control switches are such an inconvenience that I avoid using my MG. Best SUV IN THE SEGMENT

Extremely poor mileage against the claims and pathetic after sales service. Arrogant and intimidating. MG disowns the customer immediately after the sale.

One of the worst cars available in India, as a huge nation I don't know, all are purchased Chinese made MG. In India we have so many home made cars available MM, Tata, it's 200% better than MG. In durability mechanism, sales support, and in styling

MG was British car owner but sold to china and the quality is gone down badly.

Sales team of MG is Pathetic. They provide false information just for the sake of selling the car. Please be careful before you purchase.

Dear All, I request you to all that don’t buy this car because I have purchased this MG Diesel top model and started to get noise in all Gate and also having noise at or more than 140 km/hour speed. If anyone videos of noise then I can share and please chat on my number (919891818024). Although this company has good service support but what they can do if this is manufacturer fault. MG in Chennai do not have properly trained team to support the after sale service. Their staff are discourteous and inefficient . Besides their sales team does lot of promise but they do not spell out the related conditions. To put it in but she’ll, MG is not a brand to buy. Later when we call , they don’t even attend our calls.

I purchase MG HECTOR in September 2019 I drive mg 10900 km till date 24-8-2020 Very poor mileage Brother and sisters please don’t buy mg petrol automatic Mg claims 13.86 km per litre But actually mileage in Delhi city 5 to 7 km per litre ?? 12 ?? 15 rs km ?? ??? ?? ???? You can feel Chinese everywhere. Mileage is 5-8, plastic is like Chinese toys. Build quality is also like Chinese.

The car as such is excellent. But milage is very poor. It gives about 5-6 km per litre within city. Where as its counterparts like Innova and Harrier gove about 10 km per litre. The salesmen fool u by claiming that the lilage is around 11 km per litre (petrol automatic). They don't even have an option to fit in CNG. if milage is your concern then do call me on 8088675536(bangalore). If u want then i can help u with a test ride to check the mileage(at your petrol cost).

In this price range. MG Hector is the best SUV car. The powerful power engine and internet in your car also have great features that let you find your place and never lose it. It has a lot of luggage space and a panoramic sunroof, so even the rear passengers can enjoy the view.

Super performance and super car

Both inside and outside of MG Hector are marked. The technology used in such a segment is awesome. But in terms of mileage, some of what it lacks. The overall performance of the car is very good.

In this price range. MG Hector is the best SUV car. Great power engine and internet in the car, also great features that allow you to find your location and you will never lose. It has great luggage space and panoramic sunroof, providing a great view even for the rear passengers as well.

MG hector India is owned by SAIC Motor Corp which is Chinese gaint. Do I have to now write anything further. Use your intelligence pls.

Interior & Exterior both are up to the mark.The technology which is used in such this segment is awesome. But in terms of millage some how it is lacking.Overall Performance of the car is good.

Best SUV in the market. For such a price. Value for money Top features. Such features only seen in the cars which cost above 60 lack.

I booked MG Hector on 19th of July, 2019. I opted for the Smart DCT option (Aurora Silver) at MG’s Showroom Ahmedabad which is owned by Concept motors. I had driven MG before booking the car itself. But after booking it I still wanted a test drive. So 2 weeks after booking the car i went down for a test drive. I was with the same sales person who sold me the car. I was just cruising around on the service road when there was a thud noise in the Engine and then the car stopped. I looked on to the information cluster ahead and it showed orange coloured exclamation mark to which the sales person told that there is some issue with the transmission of the car. He called some guy from the technical dept where he told me that transmission had failed and it was the second time something like this happened. The car had only 4200km on the test runs. I cancelled the booking the next day to which their manager told me to wait and let’s see if there was any issue or not. But as I was adamant they proceeded with the refund. Though they told me that the refund will be processed within 15 days, it took them 28 days just to process it and give me the cheque that too after alot of follow ups. The car is good on cosmetics but I don’t think so that you can trust the engine in long run. MG still needs to take care and refine the engine according to indian road conditions. Giving variety of features won’t help if there is an issue in the Engine Quality.

It’s not working properly. Worst product.

After 6000 km car break down and with burning smell and reason is clutch plate car is not good don’t buy

Dear Sir/ Madam I want cancel my registration with you by name of Ram Niwas Garg As i was ensured that i will be getting car by month of november than mid of december  Mr sumit promised that my car will be allocated by max of 15th december. it has been allocated by company in grey color super model ( on demand i can present recorded conversation) but today on 13 dec mr dilip told still allocation has to come ..which i feel is nonsense  or they dont have any proper information about car or just making fun of us or may be intrested in selling to other customers this kind of behaviour is not acceptable from company n showroom if company doesnt have capcity to provide cars then its hould down there unit n pack bags if this is the behaviour / response i m getting before purchasing than what kind of horrible treatment i will get after purchase i think i should thank to god that i m not part of your family  this is something very ir-responsible n unprofessional behaviour from team faridabad and mg hector team n disappointing case. such a disappointing case. The 48V Lithium ion batteries are very expensive . MG does not even have a price for it. Also, you get all of 1 year warranty on the 48V battery whereas everyone today talks of 5 or 8 years or more warranty on batteries.

Hello Mg I am very much disappointed with the sales team at MG moti nagar Delhi. I had booked my hybrid car on19.7.19 with assured delivery for 7.11.19. But the sales executive therein namely mr. Vivian. Had never called up nor had any courtesy to apprise me of the status of my car delivery. I have raised issue with ur pulse hub . But again just eye wash. I have huge apprehensions now with regard to after sales and services I believe there is no customer friendly service at mg Huge apprehensions now. Chinese brand. Chinese response! Chinese after sales service?. Felt cheated Puneett Singhal

I have driven diesel sharp varaint for around 3000km in span of 7 days and experience is just great ...i have achieved milegae of 15.8 km/l.i feel u get proper suv feel in it..i hve read some negative reviews also but my personal experience is very good
