Overall, Thar is a good buy. It’s tough and stylish, but the rear seating could be more comfortable. also Thar is good for occasional off-roading. Not the best for daily use in heavy traffic.

I’ve been facing multiple issues. First, there’s a strange sound that comes when I apply the brakes, which is very concerning for a new vehicle. Second, despite closing the door completely, air leaks inside the cabin, making the ride uncomfortable, especially on highways. I am extremely disappointed with these issues and expected much better quality from Mahindra.

I've been driving the Mahindra Thar for two years now, and it's the perfect vehicle for rugged roads and off-road adventures. Its design and off-road capabilities are outstanding, making it a fantastic choice for weekend trips and rough terrains. However, it's a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to daily city commutes. The back seat space is quite cramped, and the ride quality on highways could definitely be smoother. While I love it for its adventurous spirit, it’s not the most comfortable option for everyday driving.
