Yes! The Maruti Suzuki Ignis facelift was launched almost eight months ago, and we are only getting our hands on it now! Not much changes on the facelifted model and maybe that's not a bad thing. Here's our comprehensive review of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis facelift.
Maruti Suzuki has been on a roll. It's almost like the run its Korean counterpart was having until last year - where every product launched was a blockbuster. Now it may be premature to call the Ignis one yet - and indeed it will remain a niche product when compared to the likes of the Swift or Baleno. But what the Ignis does is it gives us Maruti's best small car yet. Read on to find out why I say this.
The Ignis has one of the most polarising designs that we have seen in recent times, but, you cant deny the fact that as a car, it is quite striking. If the exterior design doesnt seem to attract you, the interior on the Ignis certainly will. In fact, the Ignis is by far the best designed Maruti we have even had in India. The Ignis, just like the Baleno will get both petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol engine will be the same 1.2 litre 4-cylinder K12 enigne that does duty in the Baleno and the Swift. The diesel on the other hand is the 1.3 litre DDiS engine that again does duty in like likes of the Swift, Baleno and Ciaz. For the first time in this segment, both the petrol and diesel engine will be equipped with a AMT gearbox. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis will be launched on January 13, 2017 and should be priced aggressively. Of course, the Ignis will be available only in Nexa dealerships. The Ignis should be priced between Rs 4.50 lakh and Rs 7 lakh.

Overall Ignis is complete package in terms of mileage performance and safety. I have mileage of 21 kmpl on highway with ac on 1 point outside temprature was around 40 degree. Ride quality is better. If you dont wan to believe then go for test ride. One point to add very less cabin noise as compare to all other cars.

One of the best car for economical use especially in a small town with small roads .It has all the comfort of an SUV car and i love the height of the car and the seats which makes it so easy to see the road when you drive as compared to other company cars where the seats are sunken inside . Overall I love the comfort that it offers.

I bought this car on 17th of Jully 17. I drive this car 917 km. Its gives 22.1 km/ mileage on speedometer. But actually its give 20 km/per liter with AC on. Mostly I like the car performance on road Its too fast. Its a Delta Petrol Model. Also grip is very good on the road special on Indian Road. the plastic used on dashboard is little poor quality. All the function of car are working properly.Noice is very (0.01) less in cabin. Hope in future it will remain same. I use to say this car value for money . you can overtake on road very easily without any effort this thin I like most. Car can control at any speed. I like it.

I Initially booked Maruti Suzuki Celerio ZXI O model which was costing me 6.30 lakhs on road. on the day of submitting my documents i saw Nexa and Ignis.
It struck my eye immediately and i asked the sales guy the best price he can offer and i got Ignis Zeta in 6.70 lakhs with additional warranty.
Now if we check
I am sure in 6.70 no one is offering these features, performance, styling what Ignis has to Offer.
Pros:
Amazing Power to weight ratio
Amazing mileage (20+ on highways and 17.5 to 18 in City)
very refined engine smooth as butter
amazing driving experience on highways as well in city.
Very comfortable seats(Bucket seats)
Safety Features and entertainment is major Plus in this price range.
Ground clearance is superb you will feel comfortable on bumpy roads.
Boot space is superb 260 ltrs can store lot of stuff in your car's Boot.
The car looks very elegant.
Reviewing after completing 1500Kms
Cons:
i do not have any complaints as no brands offered me above features in 6.70lakhs on road.

I did a test drive of the top end AMT of this car and found suspension worst than any other Maruti. Car looks good, space is good but suspension makes it worst, it is so much hard that every small bump will make give you the feel, and the same feed back has been given at Nexa Akshardham so they communicate it further. has any one else has experienced the same?

My 2 months old IGNIS ZETA AMT picked up sudden acceleration on its own , brakes did not work and had an accident. I had a miraculous escape from death.Despite above engine malfunction, Maruti and the dealer failed to give an explanation acceptable. I am stuck with a new car which poses threat to me and other road users.

I have been watching this car's news from quite long time in online so thought of taking a test drive after its launch but my bad luck when I visited a NEXA they ddin't have a test drive car as it went for RTO registration so I got a walk-though of the car that were displayed in showroom.
So, here my review goes on:
1. Same Fiat Engine(D) and K Series(P) engine so we can trust the performance (Dont expect much on initial pickup but it could give a very good number in mileage).
2. Materials used inside the cabin is average.
3. Steel used for body is not that hard so its dent porn and will not be much stronger line Figo or Polo body.
4. Design - I would say they very worst design of the vehicle is delivered to Ignis, even the Tata who don't concern about the body design has a decent designs.
5. Body weight - as the car looks a light weight one, it will not give a stability and confidence above ~90KMPH.
6. Space - since its a compact car we can't expect much spacious in the car but still okay.
7. Infotainment - available only in the top end.
8. It has pedestrian crossing or motion sensors in the front windshield for auto braking even when the driver is not doing his job, so its good for ladies and driving in city traffics but available only in Automatic Gear.
9. ABS and Airbags - Now a days Maruti is giving it as a standard one in cars from low end variant to high end.
10. The best part is it has a very good ground clearance and the searing positions are placed bit high so you will feel good in long drive.
Those who are thinking of buying Hyundai Eon, MS Alto/800, Tata Nano can opt for this if they have a good budget compared to above cars.
My final verdict:
Its a bit highly priced car with worst design at the rear but could perform well since it is from Maruti Suzuki.

I have IGNIS/ Delta/ MT. first of all, IGNIS price is not high. its feature loaded car in this segment and its value of money. We can compare it with Grand i10- MAGNA. Ignis Delta have following features
Two Airbags,ABS , EBD, TCT and steering mounted controls, Tilts adjustment, Ground clearance 180 MM, Short Turning radius, Music system, Soft gear shifting, drive seat high is good position.
Over all.BEST DIVISIBILITY, VISIBILITY , AVERAGE, SAFETY , GOOD MOVEMENT IN CITY.
A SINGLE FEATURE DONT CONTAIN IN GRAND I10
now Price in my udaipur city is IGNIS 6.1 lacs and Grand i10 is 6.05 lacs.
i am getting 20 KMPL in my city. torque of IGNIS is too good. no need to change gear frequently even slow speed.
Rear Seat for 3rd passenger can be more. but its ok.
hence its best car for me.

The most value of money car offered by Maruti Suzuki. Twin airbags, Abs, Music player with steering mounted audio control,15" wheels with 180mm ground clearance is the perfect offering for Indian condition at 6lakhs on road cost
Mileage on highways is excellent with 19+kmpl and very spacious cabin as well. Ideal family car.

I have brought Ignis Delta AMT last year in April 2018 at on Road Price og 6.45 Lakhs, this includes few accessories also. Only one word for this car:- Awesome. Before buying this pocket size power house I was worried about its look as many people I talked was not liking its unique exterior. However when I went to NEXA showroom and looked closely into the interior, I was blown away. This car is beast for Indian Roads, with 180 mm ground clearance and 15 inch wheels, perfect for off-roading. 2 of my friends who were skeptical about the looks bought this car after test driving mine. Just go for it, it is truly a micro SUV.

Best in class. Though the legroom in back row is less but who cares. It's for driver who's gonna ride it. I bought this Model a weel back. Rolled 800kms till date(in a week). Mileage is good. I hope after 2nd or 3d service it's mileage might increase as claimed by company ppl and few of my frnds who have a great knowledge about diesel motors. Driving through Gurgaon and Delhi traffic is like a piece of cake in this car. Anyone who has a mid budget can go for this car. Also you can bargain for this car as it's not so popular as compared to Baleno. My Onroad price was 7.2L something. I got it for 6.65L.(Gurgaon). Got the best deal (I guess).
Compact car preferable for 2 - 3 ppl. Stability on Highway is good. maneuverability in traffic is good. Pedals are bit stiff, so is steering. But we can't compare it with Hyundai. All in all. Good car with "hatke" looks.

I bought alpha petrol ignis in Feb 2018 and I must say it was the finest decision of mine to go for it. U would have probably heard from people it's a bad car, it has a body roll. It's completely bullish. Trust me I drove it several times at 140+ , I never felt it and the driving experience is superbly at par with any costly car. It deserves 5 stars. The only downside of the car is back sea a bit, it's not as comfortable as I10 or any other car or so but anyday it will work. But seeing the price range it's the best car. Cheers maruti. I got average of 19+ on highways and in city it strikes 17-18. Isn't it an economic car in the market. Please go for alpha variety. Trust me in 7.15 lakhs u are getting features worth 10+ lakhs car. It's stiffness and suspension is better than baleno.. I went to take baleno but ended up taking ignis.. Love u ignis????

I owned Ignis Delta petrol MT on 12th August 17 (three days ago) from AM Motors NEXA Showroom Malappuram . I'm very happy with my new car. It makes driving easy, simple and gives a feel of safety. The engine makes us in a confusion whether it's in starting mode or not. Very low engine noise. Even if only two speakers it give good quality sound. Exterior and Interior are also great. But the rear suspensions are a little hard without back seat passengers. It may be a new vehicle. Overall I'm very satisfied with my car.

Comparing in segment, it's little costly. I advice maruti to reduce price of AGS compliant models, it will boost their sale drastically. Overall it is a very nice, well equipped with lots of features.

Really beauty and Best Car
5.0
Delta(Diesel)
I have Ignis Delta/ petrol. I am very happy to have this car. Thank u Maurti. This car design in completely on new platform with already tested engine. No need to tell about exterior design. Its superb, just European style car. No one car in this segment have this beautiful style. Really unconventional design. I have ridden 1176 KM with 18.7 KM/ LTR average. Just showing on tachometer. 1197 CC engine tune perfectly with this design, shockers and platform. CABIN NOISE IS ZERO. pin drop silent inside the cabin. 180 MM ground clearance along with 15th wheels provide, good quality of riding indian road condition. Wheel base to too good in this segment so LEG ROOM inside the cabin is very very good. Even in rear side also. 5 persons can sit very comfortable. many times we did it. Two times I drive it 100 KM/hour. Its seems controllable and stable. Turning radius to short. Easy movement in city traffic as well as torque is also high than other car. not need change gear even in slow speed. driver seat in very good position so visibility is clear even on Right side also. Important points are, IGNIS have all require safety feature ABS, EBD, AIRBAG, TCT if break assist(BA) also should be inside, but it ok. Maruti is thinking about safety for Indian, its good for us.
HENCE BEST DRIVABILITY, VISIBILITY, SAFETY. GOOD AVERAGE. ITS COMPLETE PRACTICAL CAR. DESIGN, PERFORMANCE. EVERYTHING IS GOOD IN THIS CAR.
I am just missing touch screen infotainment system. But it ok. I am very happy to have this, and hope it will continue.

Alpha no auto gear shift
4.0
Ignis
All specs look good. Exterior is a bit boxy. Muruti should immediately look into not having auto gear shift and leather seats in their top model. Whats the problem if there are people who will pay more why not offer it even by order booking.

Ignis
Hello Friends One of my Best Friends bought Ignis 6 Months Back.He was Very happy with Performance so recommenced me to buy.i also bought Ignis and i am also very Satisfied in all Aspects.
Earlier in February 2020, the company launched a mid-life facelift of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, which came will the updated BS6 engine and the pre-facelift model is now quite easily available in the resale market.
With an average monthly sale of about 3500 units, the Ignis might not be the best-selling Maruti Suzuki car, but it's still highly popular, and here are some of its key highlights.
The Zeta variant on the Maruti Suzuki Ignis BS6 has been updated with the SmartPlay Studio infotainment system. The feature-rich unit was previously available only on the range-topping Alpha variant of the hatchback. The new feature though brings a price hike on the BS6 Maruti Suzuki Ignis Zeta variant that is now priced at Rs. 5.98 lakh for the manual and Rs. 6.45 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi) for the AMT version. Compared to the prices announced in February for the facelift, the model is now more expensive by Rs. 8500.
The Suzuki Ignis arrived globally in 2016 and the model has been pitched as a micro-SUV or a butch hatchback with a retro design language. The model was always aimed at young buyers and India got the Ignis in 2017 via the Nexa outlets. Now, Suzuki is readying a mild facelift for the retro hatchback globally, images of which have been leaked online ahead of the official reveal. The 2020 Suzuki Ignis gets cosmetic tweaks, according to the leaked images that aim to add a little more rugged appeal to the offering.
