Hyundai ix25 Compact SUV - Expected Price, Launch and Features

The next big launch from Hyundai India will be a compact SUV which will take on the likes of Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Though there was some confusion if this product would arrive in India or not, the company seems to have made up its mind about bringing in the ix25. The reason we are so confident about the ix25 coming to India is because it has been spotted testing here quite a lot of times. So, the ones who are considering buying the ix25 as their next car, here's what we have to say about this.
Design
Sharing its design cues with different Hyundai SUVs, including the ix35 and the new Santa Fe, the ix25 will be the company's entry into the fast-growing compact SUV segment in India. The production model of the car will look different from the ix25 Concept showcased at the Auto China 2014; in fact, the car looks like a smaller Santa Fe, based on the new Fluidic Sculpture Design 2.0.

Length - 4270mm
Width - 1780mm
Height - 1630mm
Wheelbase - 2590mm
Engine Options and Power
The new ix25 compact SUV will be made available in both, petrol and diesel, engine options. Powering the petrol and diesel models of Indian version the car might be the 1.4-litre VTVT and the 1.6-litre CRDi diesel, the ones that also power the Hyundai Verna.
