Ahead of the MG Hector's official debut, a new spy photos shows us what the MG Hector looks like. Slated to make its global debut in India, on May 15, the SUV is expected to be launched sometime in the following months.

The soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Venue SUV has garnered over 2000 bookings in India in just one day. It was just yesterday, on May 2, that the company announced opening pre-bookings for the new subcompact SUV in India.

Maybach is the badge which adds even more opulence to Mercedes cars. It's one of the most highly respected luxury brands that give Mercedes credentials to face the ultra-luxury carmakers such as Rolls Royce. Given that SUVs are ruling the roost, a Maybach badged SUV is even more welcoming. Spy pictures of the 2020 Mercedes-Maybach GLS being tested on public roads have surfaced online and the new model is expected to make its global debut next year.

Italian design house, Pininfarina, has helped design it to bring in a fresh perspective. The cabin now comes with new silver accents for a more premium look and feel.

MG has said that the car will make its first public appearance on May 15 and MG Motor is expected to share all the details of the SUV then. The Hector, as we've already told you will be the first connected car in its segment and in fact the company has already shared pictures of the car. The Hector SUV gets bumper mounted LED headlamps and the daytime running lights (DRLs) are positioned right on top, close to the hood, a design element which is gaining prominence globally. Other elements include, faux-silver skid plates, roof mounted spoiler and diamond cut alloy wheels.

The all-new Hyundai Venue will be launched in India on May 21 and the Korean carmaker has finally started accepting bookings. Bookings for the Venue starts today for an amount of Rs. 21,000 at Hyundai's website and dealerships across India. The Hyundai Venue will be offered in India in four variants and seven exterior colour options- Denim Blue, Lava Orange and Deep Forest along with three Dual Tone options.

While the Jaguar I-Pace bagged three awards at WCOTY 2019 including the prestigious World Car Of The Year award, even the Hyundai Santro and Kia Soul were nominated for multiple categories.

Maruti Suzuki, which commands over half of the market share in the Indian car market has seen a significant impact on the overall passenger vehicle sales since the beginning of 2019. Maruti's sales have remained under pressure since the beginning of the year and in April it witnessed a drastic decline of 19.6 per cent in the domestic market selling 133,704 units against164,978 units which were sold in the same period last year.
