SIAM organizes 8th Design and Styling Conclave

SIAM, today, organized the 8th Styling and Design conclave in Delhi. Revolving around the theme of 'Emerging Markets: Creating Value through Design', the day long conclave showcased India's potential to becoming an automotive styling and designing hub.

The conclave included presentations on topics related to automotive designing followed by a Q&A session. Attended by stalwarts from the industry like Ian Callum, Head Design, Jaguar Cars, Tarun Aggarwal, Design Head, Maruti Suzuki, Siddharth Lal, MD&CEO Eicher Motors, Mike Simone, Design Head, GM and many more, the discussions that followed were extremely fruitful.

Talking about the concept cars for the Chevrolet portfolio, Simone said, "GM's concept vehicle, which is a global answer to the needs of the emerging markets, particularly in India. While designing this car, GM has focused on emotional and rational needs of the local market of India."
