After doing quite well in the last quarter of 2014, our carmakers are now all set to bring in more products in 2015 to keep the momentum going for them.

2014 has been the best ever year for Honda Cars India that launched two all new products in the year - new-gen City and Mobilio. The company has clocked 14,428 units of domestic sales in December 2014 as against 5,493 units sold during December 2013, registering an increase of 163%.

Honda, the Japanese car maker, will launch the updated CR-V facelift in the Indian car market in 2015. The company has now unveiled the 2015 model of the car, which was showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as a concept.

While the regular models will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the line-up might also include a performance-oriented model that will house the 1.5-litre i-VTEC motor under the hood and come mated to a 5-speed CVT gearbox.

Buoyed by the overwhelming response for its sub-compact sedan, the Zest, in India, Tata Motors is now gearing up to launch the much-awaited Bolt hatchback here.
