World Car Awards 2015 Finalists Announced

The 75 jurors from around the world who make up the eminent jury of the World Car Awards have spoken. In the first round of voting for all eligible cars carried out over the past week, the jury has selected its finalists for the 2015 awards.
Awards will be given out in 5 categories, with the 2015 World Car of the Year being the most prestigious trophy in the running. Other awards will be for the World Luxury Car of the Year, Performance Car, Green Car and the 2015 Car Design of the Year. All products launched in 2014 are in the running for the top honours across all categories.
All votes have been tabulated and ratified by international accounting firm KPMG, and here are the shortlisted finalists across all categories, in alphabetical order.

The World Green Car category shortlist is prepared by a committee of experts in the field, who were appointed by the World Car Awards Steering Committee to extensively review all documentation and specs associated with each candidate on the list of nominees. All 75 jurors will then vote for the winner from amongst the shortlisted nominees.

Similarly, an expert panel also shortlists the nominees from amongst all eligible cars, for the World Car Design award. Candidates so include both pre-production and all-new production models. The jury will now vote for the winner in round two of voting next week from amongst the shortlist below.
